Chapter 5

The First Heaven and Earth Age

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, Whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds." The word worlds here in Hebrews 1:2 is Strong's Concordance #165 aion in Greek, meaning world "ages", not worlds or planets. There are three Heaven and Earth ages in God's master plan. We live in the second Earth age now but there was an age before this one in which all of God's creation, including each and every one of us, existed together on Earth in our original celestial body. It was called the first Heaven and Earth age.

God made these world ages, but we don't remember it, as we read in Ecclesiastes 1:11: "There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after." This verse tells us that you can't remember what happened in the first Earth age, and you don't remember what's going to happen in this Earth age or what comes after it. But you did know these things at one time, and you can again by reading His letter to you, the Bible.

You can read of these various world ages in Hebrews 11:3: "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Again, the Greek word is aion used here in this verse for the word worlds meaning "world ages." The three world ages are framed by the word of God, and God's word will unveil that framework upon closer examination. The second half of this verse means that each age or dispensation did not spring from its predecessor as a plant does, but was ordered by God. He is in control of the ages. They do not evolve into one another.

Don't get the impression, though, because you existed in a spiritual body before your birth and will once again in your next body, that this is a form of reincarnation. It isn't. As we were told in Hebrews 9:27, "And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" You get one life in the flesh and one shot to experience as much as you can, each and every day. Along the way God expects you to seek Him out and learn what He has to say about an eternal life with Him. This life of yours in God's time, which will also be our time frame when we join Him, will pass in a blink of an eye. It's probably why they say your life flashes before your eyes when you die, because in real eternal time, it actually was that short!

We know that it was a spiritual body we possessed in the first Earth age and not a flesh body, because in Genesis 6:6 we read that it “...
